Terms Of Service
Last updated: June 14, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to the Driftline Mobile Car Detailing website and your purchase or use of detailing services from Driftline (“Driftline,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By visiting the website, requesting an appointment, approving an estimate, or receiving services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not book or use the services.
You represent that you are at least 18 years old and have legal authority to arrange service for the vehicle and at the location provided. If you book for another person or vehicle owner, you represent that you have permission to accept these Terms on their behalf.
2. Services and Estimates
Driftline provides vehicle detailing services in Round Rock and surrounding parts of the Austin, Texas area. Packages and listed prices describe a typical scope of work. Exact results, time, and price may vary based on vehicle size, condition, material, access, contamination, requested add-ons, and other circumstances discovered before or during service. Prices shown online are starting prices unless expressly stated otherwise.
We may inspect the vehicle and confirm or revise an estimate before beginning. Additional work—including excessive pet hair, severe staining, odor treatment, overspray, biological material, or unusually heavy contamination—requires your approval before an additional charge is added. We may decline work that is unsafe, unlawful, outside our service scope, or likely to damage the vehicle.
3. Booking and Confirmation
Submitting a scheduling form requests an appointment but does not guarantee service until Driftline confirms the details. We may contact you to verify the location, vehicle, package, condition, access, timing, or add-ons. You agree to provide current and accurate contact and vehicle information and to respond reasonably to confirmation requests.
Appointment times are estimates. Travel conditions, weather, earlier jobs, vehicle condition, or events outside our control may affect arrival or completion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of a significant delay. Service durations displayed on the website are estimates and are not guarantees.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Before arrival, remove cash, valuables, personal documents, medication, weapons, child seats if you want the area beneath them cleaned, and other personal property. Driftline is not responsible for loss of unsecured items left in the vehicle unless caused by our intentional misconduct. Please identify delicate, loose, aftermarket, repaired, or malfunctioning parts before service.
You must provide lawful and safe access to the vehicle and enough surrounding space for the selected work. If the vehicle is located at an apartment, office, or managed property, you are responsible for obtaining necessary permission and complying with property rules. You must keep children, pets, and bystanders a safe distance from the work area. Keys must be available when needed to complete the service.
5. Vehicle Condition and Results
Detailing improves appearance and cleanliness but cannot guarantee removal of every stain, scratch, odor, defect, contaminant, or imperfection. Pre-existing wear, sun damage, oxidation, clear-coat failure, loose trim, brittle plastics, dyed or repaired material, electrical problems, and hidden defects may become more visible after cleaning. Paint correction reduces visible defects but does not create new paint or repair damage through the finish.
You agree to disclose known leaks, electrical issues, aftermarket electronics, previous body repairs, damaged upholstery, loose components, or sensitive surfaces. Photographs may be taken before and after service to document condition, quality, or claims. We will not use identifiable images for advertising without permission where consent is legally required.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Access
You may reschedule without a fee up to four hours before the appointment. Late cancellations, repeated rescheduling, no-shows, inaccessible vehicles, unavailable keys, or unsafe locations may result in a reasonable trip or cancellation charge if disclosed at booking or confirmation. Any deposit terms will be presented before payment.
Driftline may reschedule or cancel because of unsafe weather, equipment issues, illness, travel disruption, location restrictions, or other circumstances that make service impractical or unsafe. If we cancel a prepaid service and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the amount paid for the unperformed service will be refunded.
7. Payment
Payment is due when stated during booking or, by default, upon completion. You authorize us and our payment provider to charge the approved amount, including taxes and specifically approved add-ons. You are responsible for providing a valid payment method and for resolving declined or disputed payments made without a good-faith basis.
Tips are optional. Prices may change, but changes do not affect a confirmed package unless the vehicle condition or requested scope differs from the information supplied at booking. Promotional offers may have separate conditions, cannot be duplicated or transferred unless stated, and have no cash value.
8. Inspection and Service Concerns
You should inspect the vehicle promptly after completion and notify us of a concern as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 24 hours. Provide photographs and a clear description so we can investigate. We may ask to inspect the vehicle before another provider alters the area at issue. Failure to provide a reasonable opportunity to inspect may limit available remedies.
If we determine that work did not reasonably match the agreed scope, our preferred remedy is to reperform the affected portion. Any refund or credit is at our reasonable discretion and is limited to the amount paid for the affected service. This process does not reduce rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Driftline will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, lost use, lost profits, lost data, or substitute transportation arising from the website or services. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the service giving rise to that claim.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited. Driftline is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, utility failure, government action, labor disruption, equipment failure despite reasonable maintenance, or emergency conditions.
10. Website Use and Intellectual Property
The website, logo, copy, graphics, design, and other materials are owned by Driftline or used with permission and are protected by applicable laws. You may use the site only for personal, lawful purposes related to evaluating or booking our services. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, interfere with, misuse, or commercially exploit the site without written permission.
Links to third-party tools, including scheduling and payment services, are provided for convenience. Those providers operate under separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or acts except to the extent required by law.
11. Disputes and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking relief in small claims court where eligible or pursuing remedies that cannot be waived.
Any proceeding not eligible for small claims court will be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Williamson County, Texas, unless applicable law requires a different venue. Each party consents to that jurisdiction and venue.
12. General Terms and Contact
If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer. These Terms and any confirmed service details are the complete agreement concerning the subject matter.
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Updated Terms apply to later website use and bookings.
